What is it?

A webinar series designed to improve the ability of NOAA employees to communicate the climate science in the Great Lakes.
As a result of your participation in this webinar, you will be able to:

• use sound science to explain how the Great Lakes Region
   may be impacted by climate change

• effectively communicate the uncertainties about climate
   change-- differentiate fact from fiction

• convey NOAA’s role in climate services

NOAA employees and affilitates in the Great Lakes Region


Why a webinar?

The presentation is intended to serve as a model for effective outreach to stakeholders in a carbon-neutral manner.  By utilizing “virtual meeting” software and holding this workshop over the internet versus a specific place, we anticipate an enourmous savings in carbon emissions.
